Arrangements are now in hand for the next Yorkshire Dales photography holiday in June 2015. Why not join us when you will be able to photograph sunrises, hay meadows, wild flowers and the Dales at their very best?
Details are as follows:-
Arrival – Friday 12th
Depart – Tuesday 16th
The break includes 4 nights accommodation, 4 evening meals and 3 full days of photography in this stunning location.
Our base will be High Trenhouse, about a mile outside Malham. See http://www.high-trenhouse.co.uk for further information. This will be the sixth time we will have used High Trenhouse – we are always VERY well looked after in this absolutely top notch base and all our stays have been very comfortable. The home cooked meals are first class and the facilities perfect for our workshop.
The Yorkshire Dales around Malham /Littondale/Wharfedale provide some fantastic photo opportunities. Apart from the obvious (Malham Cove, Janet’s Foss falls etc) there are many other excellent photo opportunities (and yes, there WILL be a solitary tree!). June also provides us with some superb wildflower meadows at Muker in Swaledale.
The cost of the break is £715.00 (which compares very favourably indeed with other, similar workshops). This includes: dinner, bed & breakfast, packed lunches, a set of ‘Nick Notes’, travel to and from locations and all the tuition you need to really help you improve your work. All levels of skill and knowledge are catered for.
The cost does not include: travel to and from High Trenhouse, holiday/camera gear insurance and bar/room phone bills.
The format of the break will be as follows: as much time as possible will be spent working locations, with group reviews of work done each evening. We will have our own meeting room and projection facilities in the event of rain. A reasonable degree of fitness is required. We will not be yomping for miles but there will be some walking to the chosen locations.
Booking requests can be placed now for this break . Further details will be sent to attendees a bit nearer the time. Please note that a £75.00 non refundable deposit will secure your booking. On receipt of the deposit, your place will be secured and an invoice sent out showing the total balance due, and by when, less the deposit paid.
The previous breaks here filled up very quickly, so if you are interested, I suggest you let me know soon. The break will also be posted on my web and Facebook pages very soon.
