Workshop Reviews

We value all of our attendees feedback highly. Please take some time to read through our reviews and see first-hand, comments we have had. If you have recently been on one of my workshops, feel free to leave your own thoughts and share your experience.

I recently attended a workshop with Nick at Craig Gwladys and thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. From start to finish Nick was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. Within 20 minutes he had already demonstrated a handful of camera features we had no idea existed and helped each of us achieve the style of images we wanted. Both during and after the day he showed an interest and offered great feedback for our work. Thanks Nick, for a fun and educational day and I look forward to coming along for more workshops soon!

I have been with Nick on three photoshoots, these were organised privately, there were three of us. Two in Wales and one in the Cotswolds which was at the end of April 2019.

Nick is extremely professional and he surveyed the area where we intended to take photographs so we get the best out of the time spent there. I am a novice compared to my two friends and Nick was there to help me choose the right lens and to remind me to put a polarising filter on!!

If you want a really good and knowledgeable tutor - go on one of Nick’s photoshoots - you will learn a lot and leave with some great photographs. I will definitely be seeing him again.

Thank you so much for a really enjoyable and useful workshop yesterday. The tip about highlights was a great help to get some detail on the water when I was editing the RAW files. I must start practicing a lot more with my camera now that you have inspired me. Thanks, Lyndsay

No pressure from Nick, on hand and happy to help, easy learning. Instructions very clear. A great day in the Waterfalls, love my images and thanks for the tip in LR to cure blown highlights.   (Sandra Walding - Vale of Neath Photo Workshop, 18th November 2018)

Ended up having a 1-1 session this morning when others couldn't make the workshop. Learnt so much, thanks a lot to Nick, he's very down to earth and approachable. (Adele Jones, Glamorgan Coast 1:1  - 20th October 2018)

I have attended three of your workshops, to the Brecon Beacons, The Lake District and the Glamorgan Heritage Walk. I find your workshops are interesting, informative and most of all enjoyable.

I can honestly say that I have learnt a  considerable amount of photographic  knowledge from you, and I thank you for that.  I am looking forward to the forthcoming trip to the Scilly Isles.

I have attended three of Nick's workshops over the past couple of years. The locations we visited were most photogenic and Nick was a font of local knowledge to boost the experience. He was quick to identify my level of expertise (or lack of it) and offer advice and suggestions to help me see the shot and take it. Besides the benefits which he advertises I welcome the chance to get out and about with others of like mind whose presence offers me some security. I am hoping to join another of his offerings in the near future.

I have attended a number of Nick Jenkins’ Workshops over the years at various locations. I find that Nick chooses his locations well with great attention to all the details including the important social side. He is understanding, patient and always ready to help one improve regardless of experience. I will continue to attend his workshops

I’ve always enjoyed your workshops-locations are great, good company, good suggestions, etc.

Really enjoyed Sunday. It took me out of my comfort zone and made me think a bit more about landscape photography. When the rain finally stopped and I wiped the lens, my pictures weren’t half bad.
