Of Course, it’s a Workshop…

Last week I ran a workshop in the Snowdonia National Park, based at Capel Curig. CC is a great place to base yourself as it is so close to some superb locations. I had 8 guests, ranging from the experienced to the very enthusiastic – a great mix as everyone pitched in to help. Possibly one of the most successful so far?

I have been successfully running photographic workshops, with a heavy leaning towards landscapes, for 11 years now and can say without fear or favour I have yet to cancel one due to lack of take-up. We have enormous fun and make sure we get the help, support and locations needed to produce work which can be absolutely stunning! Indeed, this was the case last week.

If you are struggling a bit and want to learn in the company of friendly and like-minded photographers (I haven’t descended to ‘togs’ quite yet) give me a try! Out of our workshops have come Blurb books, cards, photo presentations….you name it. We have even had a number of reunions and a LOT of new and lasting friendships have been born.

If you have a boat to float, I will help float it.
If you have a boat to rock, I will help rock it.
If you have bare skin, I will try to protect you (from midges, ticks, and all other sucky, bity things).

Give it a go, or buy as a present for a bestest mate. I promise to  return you in the same condition you came to me – only better!!

Damn and blast – I ALMOST forgot to mention THE famous Freespirit Images Keyfob as a parting gift (oh, and a set of accompanying notes too).

As one of the eight guests at Capel Curig last week I can only agree that it was a really successful workshop. The locations chosen were superb and gave us a real flavour of The Snowdonia National Park. We all learnt something new and came away with some great photographs, and we certainly had a lot of fun – I haven’t giggled so much in years.

I can second the above comments as another member of the Snowdonia team. Nick is full of enthusiasm, a great tutor and always on hand to help and advise. A perfect mix of locations and the good weather helped too.
